Podcast interview on being human

Late last year I was interviewed for the Self Talk Podcast and it has finally gone live! First, I want to say that I love her podcast and am a listener as well, so I highly recommend you check it out. The host, Rachel Astarte, is a psychotherapist bringing depth and insight into her episodes.

In our 30-minutes together we discuss what it means to be fully human. We also talk about an array of things related to the mind/body connection and the importance (along with tools) to recognize, process, accept, and neutralize negative self-talk and difficult emotions.

Somatic Breathwork is an active meditation technique, done lying on the back, that supports clearing the body and nervous system of emotional debris. The process mindfully moves stagnant energy (Qi/Prana), facilitating release of strong emotions that are stuck in the body, affecting the mind and limiting our lives. In this more sovereign state, triggers and stuck emotions soften as we gain space, helping us to become less reactive and more responsive in our lives. In this place, it becomes easier to experience creative insights, intuitive discernment, breakthroughs, transformation, and profound healing.
