3 years ago, in a blog post, I wrote...

Even the strongest, most well-intentioned, self-proclaimed self-care aficionados

need S P A C E to fully let go and truly be held by another.

I still agree (with myself apparently - haha) because loves, it's true. Being held by another is one of the most soul-nourishing gifts you can allow yourself to receive.

So I have two offerings that will do just that...

1st: a PODCAST!
I love listening to these while soaking in an epsom salt and essential oil bath. My favorites are the ones where the conversation flows, is deep, and where I walk away feeling like a better person for having listened.

Last week, a student of mine who hosts a soulful podcast called Sohma STRIPPED, interviewed me. The host, Jordan Pruitt beautifully named the episode, On Being a Devotee to Depth: how to harness your subtle body to change your life.

Her interview style is so genuine, you'll feel like she's an old friend. I was deeply touched by her willingness to 'get it wrong' and to simply have fun with the process (I was the first person she interviewed, usually her podcast is just her).

Here's what we get into in this episode:

1. Amber's upbringing and journey to health
2. How poetry connects us deeper to our raw, unfiltered humanity
3. Her background that led her to training Martial Arts and Yoga
4. Using Qigong and connecting to the subtle energy body
5. Breathwork and how it changes your life (no big deal)
6. What fascia is and why you should give your fascia some love (and how to do it)
7. How to grow along your journey by first accepting exactly where you are
8. Advice Amber would give to her 20-something-year-old self
Plus the last 6 minutes she lets you hear how we ended (when the interview was over...Funny bloopers for comedic relief)
